| Vocational
Programs in Mississippi are offered in over 500 different schools throughout
the state as well as the 15 different community & junior colleges. These programs provided instruction in 49 different
occupational areas. Vocational and technical programs in secondary, postsecondary,
short-term adult, industry training, and business and industry partnership
settings, enable students to acquire needed skills and abilities and achieve
their occupational goals. Upon successful completion of vocational-technical
program area courses, students will possess marketable job skills and national
industry certifications. |
