To help facilitate the mission and goals of the State Board of Education, the Mississippi Department of Education has logically divided itself into bureaus within the Central High complex in downtown Jackson. The Department also oversees four special schools located in Jackson, Brookhaven and Columbus. We have published the web links and phone numbers below for those bureaus and special schools.
