                                           Website Accessibility Statement

The Mississippi Department of Education is committed to ensuring that its website is accessible to all people, including those with disabilities.

We continually strive to meet W3C WAI's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 conformance for our site.

A few of the ways we work to achieve this is:
  • by providing text-equivalents for non-visual components of the pages
  • by providing access to Closed Caption when viewing videos
  • by providing navigation menus in an organized structure and accessible to access technology

However, if you are still unable to gain sufficient access to desired content on our site, please  immediately email mdenet@mdek12.org and provide the following information: one, the page that contained the content (or expected content); two, the issues experienced while trying to access the content; and three, the best contact information for you.  The provided information will be used to contact you and try to offer a solution.

In effort to provide the most extensible support possible, we are including additional resources to assist with accessibility needs.
