Requests for Proposals, Grants & Applications

The Mississippi Department of Education (MDE), through the Office of Elementary Education and Reading, is soliciting competitive proposals from Mississippi Public School Districts for implementing dyslexia programs in grades K – 6. These three-year dyslexia grants will support school districts and general education teachers in meeting the needs of general education students identified as having dyslexia and other related disorders and in need of a multisensory, systematic language-based reading program for the 2015-2016, 2016-2017, and 2017-2018 school years. All grant awards are subject to availability of funds contingent upon legislative appropriation.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) for the dyslexia grants may be downloaded via the link below. The deadline for submitting proposals is August 6, 2015 at 3:30 P.M. All public school districts are eligible to apply for the grant.
