REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS


Office of Child NutritionThe Mississippi Department of Education, Office of Child Nutrition Programs (MDE-CNP) is soliciting competitive written proposals from qualified contractors for professional services to develop recertification courses for School Food Service Program Managers and School Food Service Administrators.  These are two 24-hour recertification courses focusing on financial/cost control, kitchen/food safety and supervisory/management skills necessary to have a successful food service operation to be taught during the school years of 2012-2014.  Successful completion of this training is required for school foodservice manager and administrator recertification.  This Request for Proposals (RFP) covers the course development, participants and instructor manual development, participant evaluation, and training school foodservice administrators and instructors.   Any questions concerning this RFP should be directed to Amy Olson at aolson@mde.k12.ms.us
